The quartet's members, who had met while studying in Siena, made their ensemble debut in 1945. In this collection, presenting their entire Warner Classics discography, their subtle mastery is as evident in essential Austro-German repertoire as in Italian music spanning five centuries and works by Debussy, Ravel, Milhaud, Prokofiev and Stravinsky. Complementing the catalogue they built between 1953 and 1959 is their very first recording, made in 1946 when they were still known as the Nuovo Quartetto Italiano. In 1974, Tangerine Dream–then composed of Edgar Froese, Peter Baumann & Christopher Franke–performed a now legendary concert set against the awe-inspiring backdrop of Coventry Cathedral. Nearly fifty years later, the current incarnation of the band–Thorsten Quaeschning, Hoshiko Yamane & Paul Frick–returned to that same sacred space in 2022 to perform a monumental 'From Virgin To Quantum Years' set, bridging eras in a performance that reflects the band's extraordinary & ceaseless evolution. Reflecting on that experience, Thorsten Quaeschning shared: "After 2022, following the intense COVID years during which we wrote the album 'Raum', the Coventry Cathedral concert became a key moment in reconnecting different parts of Tangerine Dream's story with the present. Playing in that same cathedral created an atmosphere that was simply unique."

Dave Matthews Band's performance at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre on July 25, 2023 fired on all cylinders from start to finish. From Spaceman's confident start, to Walk Around the Moon and finishing with a blistering Two Step, this set spans the DMB catalogue and will please listeners of all eras. You ready to catch a monster grave? Surf on this 1964 classic from the venerable Vee-Jay label! While this album has been reissued before, this is the first time it’s been cut all-analog straight from the original tapes. And there are some real treats to savor in all their pure sonic glory, like “There’s a Creature in the Surfer’s Lagoon,” which The Cramps must have heard a time or three. As always with these anonymous Halloween concept albums (see our Frankie Stein and the Ghouls releases), speculation has run rampant as to who’s playing on Monster Surfing Time; suspicion this time falls on legendary “Games People Play” guitarist Joe South, who penned five of the numbers here and whose first hit was, after all, 1958’s “The Purple People Eater Meets the Witch Doctor.” So we’re gonna go with him as a likely suspect. We’re pressing this one in bloody pumpkin vinyl limited to 900 copies!

This compilation presents a selection of famous and lesser-known songs that co-existed during the peak popularity of The Beatles in 1964. The success of the Liverpool group spurred the appearance of many new recordings, spanning diverse styles. Bringing these tracks together reveals both the depth of the individual song histories and the magnitude of The Beatles phenomenon. The collection features well-known tracks such as M1 and M13 by Jack Nitschke, M2 by The Carefrees, M14 by Donna Lynne, as well as tracks from celebrated artists including The Angels (M6), Ella Fitzgerald (M11), and Gary Usher (M18). Also included are early pseudonym recordings, such as M10 (Cher's alias's first recorded track) and M23 (Robin Ward's alias), concluding with the romantic instrumental M24. The project was planned by Seiichi Yamamoto, with music selection and commentary provided by Shigo Marume. The release includes extensive liner notes and a first-pressing bonus sticker.

Formed in the early 1970s, The Residents have now been charting a unique path through the musical landscape for over half a century now. From far-out, experimental recordings to highly conceptual, innovative multi-platform projects, the band refuses to stand still, and continues to move in several different directions at once. But you already knew that. Combining new RDX mixes produced by The Residents using their original multitrack tapes under lockdown conditions during 2020, and a number of tapes placed by Hardy Fox in a part of the band’s storage complex re-discovered in 2023, ‘Leftovers’ brings together the ‘Leftovers Again?!’ Record Store Day trilogy, alongside extra leftovers which The Residents couldn’t fit onto those vinyl only releases.
