The italian Viola Bastarda and the Division-viol can be named "sister viols". The Viola Bastarda is a middle size viol falling between the tenor viol and the bass viol, which allows for a greater extension thanks to different tunings, that unlike the typical viol contain intervals of a fifth. Its repertoire originates from polyphonic compositions in tablature as conceived for ‘perfect instruments’ on which one can exceed the normal range allowing for more virtuosic movement and space for one’s own fantasies which recall all of the different themes of the original composition, Madrigale, Chançon or Motteto. The literature for the Division-viol also comes from prior music in which there were improvised parts and fantasies, but instead of making use of vocal compositions, it exploits a “virtual” polyphony based on a Ground, or in other words the bass line of an Aria.

This album is mainly composed & recorded with The SynthR4 & SynthR3 paraphonic semi modular synthesizers. This is an "epic synth" master piece, with flavors of Wendy carlos, Klaus Schulze or Jean Michel Jarre …

One of the key albums when talking about psychedelic hard-rock and early proto-metal, originally released in 1969. Featuring the great John Cann (The Attack, Atomic Rooster, Hard Stuff…) on guitar plus Mick Hawksworth (Fuzzy Duck, Alvin Lee) on heavy bass plus the powerful drumming of Ian McLane (Neat Change, Ray Owen’s Moon). Andromeda was formed during the final days of Cann’s previous band The Attack, when he decided to go in a full heavier & proggier musical direction. Recruiting his friend/room mate Mick Hawksworth on bass plus drummer Jack McCulloch (of One In A Million, soon to be replaced by Ian McLane), the power-trio was born. After initial interest from John Peel (Dandelion) and Kit Lambert (Track Records), Cann decided to go with a major label, RCA, who offered him the chance to self-produce their first album. Recorded at Advision Studios, the impressive Andromeda debut was released in 1969, housed in a sleeve designed by John with photos by Gered Mankowitz. But despite receiving excellent reviews and the band playing lots of gigs (some of them billed above bands like Black Sabbath), RCA didn’t know what to do with such a heavy rock band.

Swedish Dance-pop act Galantis release new album Rx, a 14-track offering that has been dubbed their most personal and soul-baring work yet. The album explores producer Christian Karlsson's neurodivergence and how medication has been an important influence in how he operates. The album features singles "Dust", "Koala", "Lighter", and "BANG BANG! (My Neurodivergent Anthem)".

Pacific Eardrum is a jazz-rock band in late 1970's, co-lead by New Zealander keyboardist Dave McRae and his wife Joy Yates. The project issued two albums, "Pacific Eardrum" in 1977 and "Beyond Panic" in 1978, and ended its activity in 1979.

The virtues of Uchida's playing are the ones classically associated with Mozart: grace, fluidity, restraint, and a certain playful quality. Those are all on display in these performances of Mozart concertos from the 1770s, early in the composer's career. Uchida's style is more concerned with small details than with large spaces, and this puts her somewhat out of the mainstream in a work like the Piano Concertos
